CSTA III XML Resource Adaptor for jNetX OCFS

CSTA III XML Resource Adaptor is jNetX OCFS resource adaptor that provides a CSTA III XML interface for jNetX OCFS applications. It enables jNetX applications to communicate with wide variety of external applications that support CSTA III XML, e.g., MS Live Communication Server 2005, iQ NetSolutions VistaPoint switchboard and other CTI applications.

CSTA III XML RA provides a full featured 3rd-party call control and presence monitoring services for switchboard type CTI applications on the standard basis according to ECMA-269, ECMA-323, ECMA TR/87, ISO/IEC 18056 standards.

To communicate with jNetX applications CSTA III XML RA provides API defined following jNetX standards. With the outside world, it communicates using publisher/subscriber asynchronous messaging paradigm and CSTA III XML over TCP and CSTA III XML over SIP as well.

Scalability is ensured by the Messaging Service. In a simple case (up to 20K active switchboards in parallel) CSTA III XML RA uses an internal Messaging service and provides information directly to switchboards/subscribers. However, when it is necessary to ensure higher scale and deal with a huge number of active connections (switchboards), an external Messaging Services based on master/slave model can be employed.

CallBack for Operators

CallBack on Busy for Operators solution provides callback functionality based on jNetX framework. It allows operator to offer additional functionality for users who want to reach a busy number and prefer to use an advanced technology instead of brute force. It allows to complete calls that would have failed because receiver was not reachable. If the receiver is not available, the originator can request for the CallBack on Busy service. The service monitors status of the call receiver and originator, and connects them when both lines become idle.

I-Call - Internet Call Gateway

I-Call Internet Call Gateway provides connectivity between fixed-line or mobile users and Skype, Google Talk, MSN, and SIP-based clients. I-Call supports the following two ways to make a call.

  • Make call request is made through Call management interface. The request contains call originator and call receiver, where call receiver is, e.g. Skype: <Skype name>; MSN: <MSN name>; GT: <Google Talk name>; SIP: <SIP address >.
  • SIP originators can just dial: Skype: <Skype name>; MSN: <MSN name>; GT: <Google Talk name>; SIP: <SIP address>.

I-Call allows using extra call control features (via Call management interface) such as time control that allows monitoring and controlling duration of calls (e.g., to ensure that prepaid account does not exceed its credit limit). Moreover, ElitNet can integrate I-Call to diverse infrastructures. It can be customized to fulfill customers’ needs.
